I’ve been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2009 and a Pediatric Registered Nurse since 2001.  In addition to my private practice, I’m part of the Boston Children's Hospital Lactation Support Program. I’m the proud mother of two children who were breastfed and supplemented.

Before even having children of my own, I was drawn to lactation support. As a nurse taking care of hospitalized newborns I saw the role that breastmilk has in healing sick newborns, and the role that providing breastmilk has in comforting their parents.  

That was over ten years ago. Since then, I have assisted parent baby pairs in the hospital, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, at the pediatrician's office, via telemedicine, and in their own homes.  Each interaction has left me in awe of the strength and natural ability of parents and their babies.
